Assistant Professor at the University of Minho, Informatics Department. Analide is a researcher and one of the ISLab - Synthetic Intelligence Laboratory - founders, a branch of the ALGORITMI centre. He joined the Portuguese Association for Artificial Intelligence (APPIA) board between 2006 and 2011, of which he is currently a member. Analide founded, together with others, the Portuguese Society of Robotics. Between 2005 and 2010, he participated as a member of the board of directors of the Institute of Engineers of Portugal, a branch of Computer Science, North Region.
