Raqda is a Junior Research scholar at ILINA and a Research Fellow at the Centre for AI Risk Management and Alignment (CARMA). At ILINA, she does research touching on AI liability regimes while at CARMA, she is working with Abra Ganz to map AI whistleblowing channels and legal protections in the US, UK and EU. Her research aims to foster safety, accountability, and equitable global participation in AI regulation. In line with this, she has previously co-authored work highlighting why Global South countries should care about highly capable AI. She holds an undergraduate law degree from Strathmore University.
